As the President of the Electronics and Communication Students Organization (ECO) for the 2022 Tenure, I successfully managed and led a diverse team of more than 50 members throughout my tenure. I organized and conducted several technical events, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. One of my significant achievements was orchestrating Prevoyance, a national-level tech fest, which saw participation from over 500 attendees. This experience honed my leadership, organizational, and event management skills, showcasing my ability to drive large-scale projects to success.
As the Project Lead for Communication, I managed the interface between the drone UAV and the ground control station, which involved developing a wireless network infrastructure using switches and routers to ensure reliable communication. Additionally, I designed and executed an antenna tracker mechanism to consistently track the UAV. As part of Team Arrow, we participated in the AUVSI SUAS competition held in Maryland, securing 14th place in 2022 and 5th place in 2023. As a part of team ARROW, we participated in SAE AEROTHON held at Bangalore, India securing overall 5th Place with Best Manual Flight Mission Award.
The SAE INDIA Aero Design Challenge - Regular Category is a prestigious competition where undergraduate students demonstrate their aeronautical design capabilities by building an RC plane that meets specific guidelines. Our team designed an innovative RC plane equipped with wheels, aiming for maximum payload capacity while ensuring safe flight and landing. We proudly secured second place for both the Best Design Report and Best Innovation categories, highlighting our creative approach and engineering expertise.
Participating in the GUJCOST Robofest 3, a prestigious national-level robotics competition, was an exhilarating journey that led to a remarkable runners-up achievement. Our team designed and developed a hexapod robot capable of climbing stairs, demonstrating both innovation and technical expertise. Throughout the competition, we secured funding totaling 10 lakhs across various stages: 50k in the first stage, 2 lakhs in the second, and an impressive 7.5 lakhs as second-place winners in the finals. This recognition validates our hard work and drives us forward in our pursuit of excellence in robotics.
The SAE INDIA Aerothon 2022 is a technical competition where student teams are tasked with designing a drone under 2 kg that can autonomously detect a specific mark and deliver a 200g payload. After securing 12th place in the first stage based on report submission and team presentation, we advanced to the second stage, where we successfully completed the mission objectives, securing 5th place overall. Additionally, we won the best prize for the manual mission, demonstrating precise manual payload delivery at a specified point.
During my time at Techinquiri, a non-profit organization, I worked to help school students learn about emerging technologies and programming languages. Our focus was not only on imparting technical skills but also on raising awareness of future career opportunities and pathways. Through workshops and hands-on activities, we aimed to inspire students to explore technology fields and equip them with the knowledge necessary for a promising career in the tech industry.
